As Regenerative Agriculture Lead for Bunge, Justin McAllister is responsible for the company’s regenerative agriculture program strategy. Bunge’s unique position means we serve customers at both ends of the agriculture value chain - downstream food, feed and fuel manufacturers and the very important farmer.
Since joining Bunge upon graduating from the University of Missouri – Columbia with B.S.’s in Agribusiness Management and Agricultural Systems Management, Justin has held several commercial roles including origination, domestic and export trading, futures and options risk management and most recently merchandising management for the Council Bluffs, IA soybean processing facility.
Throughout his career, Justin has lived in several parts of the Midwest and interact with producers, listening and learning what works for their operations. While Justin’s focus is to execute Bunge’s regenerative ag strategy, he is a farmer himself, residing on his family’s row crop operation which actively implements reduced tillage, cover crops and nutrient management practices.
